This is a place for selling tree peonies in campbell ???
Very close to Xiang's house...
Kind of expensive though
Not sure if they open to public...
Just called them:
1. They do not allow public to visit. They only do online purchase
2. If you pick up by yourself, he said he will refund the shipping charge by giving a check
3. The plants are life time gurantee (they replace the died plants
4. The guy is an american, he said he imported those plants from China.
5. My opinion: too expensive, no public showing is not good...
I knew this place and never have a chance to see the flowers. :-(
The peony is so beautiful, the vase is so ugly.
I think, if we were to open a nursery, we should do peony business. It will have 中国特色, and it seems there are a lot of hard core peony fans, like you two, or 2.5 (I am not fan of 茶花, but can be fan of 牡丹. They are so pretty, both tree or herbal ones.). So, the margin can be high. It seems it is difficult to deal with it, so, if you two can master the secret, we could have edge.

PS: Xiaonan will provide very pretty "real" peony photos if you two can make your peonies blossom.

Just FYI
Just called Filoli center in woodside...

Their garden shop is currently selling tree peonies... (They confirmed it is tree peony, not herbal peony...)
(I bought a camellia from them before. I think they are showing the flowers they are selling.)
It is 45 each... They have about 10 trees left...
But in order to get to the garden shop, we have to pay one day pass which is ~12 dollars...
I am not sure whether you are interested in it...
